Winters in Florida are the best! The weather is amazing and there is so much to do outside. It’s a great time to get your family photos updated! Here are a few family photo tips for planning your own family session.

Family Photo Tips:
Tip #1 Mom, choose your outfit first! Pick something to wear that you feel amazing in and then coordinate the rest of your family outfits around your own!
Tip #2 Layer! Make sure to layer your outfits. A sweater, vest, hat, belt, jewelry, and don’t forget your shoes!
Tip #3 Professional hair and makeup! We highly recommend you plan on getting your hair and makeup done for your session. If this doesn’t work in your budget, make sure you apply your makeup heavier than you normally would. This will make you camera ready!
Tip #4 Relax and let the professional work their magic! This is probably the most important tip. Getting your family dressed up and out the door in time for your session can be really stressful. I totally get it! But once you arrive at your session, take a deep breath and let your photographer take the lead. If you are relaxed and have fun with your session you will end up with an amazing gallery!
