These two. Tonight we had approximately 10 minutes before dinner and so I some how convinced them to let me take a few photos. We have this gorgeous tabebuia tree just down the street and every time it blooms I say I’m going to take some photos and then every time it blooms by the time I can get there it rains or the pretty flowering show is over.

So tonight I decided to make this happen. I’m certain all the neighbors thought I was crazy….we received some looks like what on earth are you doing. We had to go out there a little earlier then I would like but I had those 10 minutes so we did it! And its ok…and perfect….and exactly what I hoped for.

We quickly threw some clothes on (how gorgeous is this Joyfoliedress Averee is wearing?) kinda of brushed their hair and rain out the door. I mean dinner was cooking ya’ll.

Little shoots like this…with my own are so important. They always spark my creativity and my heart. They allow me to explore pretty little places and try new things. They allow me to document my own families life which is exactly what this entire business is about to me…Document life and life and exactly who your family is right this very second.

I’m so thankful for tonight and so thankful these two obliged for 10 minutes to let their mamas heart explore.
