So…you’re probably wondering whats up with the title if you don’t follow along social media with me.

Let’s Get Weird.

I went to the LGW workshop a few weeks back and it was incredible. I needed a little spark and this gave me that and more. We laughed, we learned, we ate all the good things and we captured some serious gorgeousness. This workshop helped me to put into perspective where I am creatively and where I want to go. Kayle of Locke Photography and Kate of Kate Boggs Photography did not disappoint. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being real and raw and compassionate and thoughtful and fun and all the good things. And to all my new friends who I got to meet…..so thankful!

These ladies pushed me out of my comfort zone. They pushed me to try new things and explore new light. Pushed me to find my heart and find what I believe to be beautiful. I mean you guys I shot after the sun set. After! I really left inspired and excited.

So what does all of this mean for you? Where do I want to go and what does lets get weird really mean? For me it will be bringing more story telling, more details, more love and life and real. It means styling. In addition to capturing pretty pictures it means I want to work with each of you to come up with a wardrobe that perfectly suits your family. Wardrobe can make or break a session. I am gathering pieces that you can use for your session (no cost it’s a prop to utilize). Right now I’m working on dresses and accessories for mama and some things for little ladies and little dudes (sorry dads I’ll get there eventually). I want this to be easy for you and one less thing to worry about in getting ready for your session.
