Last night we sat on the couch watching little video clips of our kids from a few years ago. It made me feel so nostalgic and happy and warm and fuzzy all at the same time. It’s so easy to forget the sweet little things as the years go by. This is one of the things I LOVE about photography. We are able to help you capture family memories. The sweet little interactions between your kids, the way your spouse looks at you, the way your baby plays with your hair. We want to freeze all these moments for you so you can revisit them often. This is probably why my favorite images are always the ones with interactions between family members and not necessarily the ones where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. I like those too of course, but when we are able to capture a husband glance lovingly at his wife, or a little boy close his eyes while hugging his momma tight, or the laughs between siblings…those make my heart go pitter patter. Those are the ones that make me thank my lucky stars that this is what I get to do. How lucky am I!
