Newborn and Family Photographer

I’ve said it time and time again. Having the honor of being welcomed into someones home after they’ve just had a baby is….well… it’s incredibly special. Not only are my “families” trusting me with their precious new addition but they are trusting me to capture this uniquely special and fleeting time in life. I mean whats something that you look back on year after year after year….even once you’re an adult. Baby photos right? It’s just such a beautiful time in a families life.

I mean fellow photographers, have you sat down and truly thought about the privilege that we get? We get to document life. We get to freeze time right where it is right this very second. We get to create art that helps to document history. We offer a way of reflecting through the years. What a true honor.

Through the years I have grown to truly love traveling to my clients homes. I love this because it offers a special touch to every session. Not only does it allow for my clients to relax in their own home but it allows us to use their space to create art. It makes their session uniquely theirs. And this lovely families back yard was just divine. I grew up on a lake and so I can attest to how truly amazing it is. There is something about Florida and outdoor living…add in a boat and water and it is just seriously the best. Swimming, skiing, sunset cruises. Growing up we would grab breakfast or dinner and head out on the lake on a Sunday morning just because we could. This sweet little lady is in for such a treat growing up here.
