I absolutely cannot believe that this handsome boy is 3 today. Three years ago I sat in my hospital bed just waiting. He is our third baby and it was by far the most peaceful delivery. It was a gorgeous and sunny day…Just like every January 18th has been since.

This kid…He seriously lights up our world. He brings out every emotion possible but mostly he brings out joy. He is goofy and smart and loving and just pure amazingness. He loves to climb and jump and be a superhero. He loves to go fast and he loves all things trucks. He does this incredible winky eye when he smiles that just absolutely melts my heart every time. I waited so long for this boy. So so long. And goodness was he worth it.

These are just a few snapshots from this morning. I decided to start doing this sign each year with the kids to capture their favorite things….

My favorite food is ice cream.
My favorite book is Frosty.
My favorite song is ABC’s.
When I grow up I want to be a firefighter.
