Southern Hills Blueberry Farm

Today is my girls first day of spring break. I wanted to make it fun and exciting and really kick off her break. So…once I found out that
Southern Hills Blueberry Farm was open for picking we decided to spend our morning there picking some delicious berries. We hopped in the car…stopped at Chick Fil A because well I’m a sucker for their breakfast (not to worry..In true Catholic fashion I had just an egg and veggie burrito ;)) and then drove to the farm. We all brought our boots so that we could really walk around and enjoy. We picked 4 lbs and I think Caiden ate 6 lbs…Just kidding but it was tricky getting him to only put them in his bucket because they are seriously so delicious. The kids had a ball…and I did too. We finished our morning with some delicious blueberry lemonade slushies and are home now to relax a bit. We are definitely going to have to plan another trip before the season is over. Such an amazing experience and everyone there is so incredibly kind. If you haven’t been yet definitely head on out for the day! Nothing like supporting local!!
