I can hardly believe this was almost 1 year ago. The funny thing when it comes to photographers… a lot of us are usually behind on our own personal images. I finally finished up all the pictures from my sweet boys 2nd year of life. Excited to share those with you. For now though I thought I would share his 1st birthday party.

I will start out by saying I had nooooo idea what we were going to do for his first birthday. We had just moved into our house, just finished up the fall and then Christmas. Phew! But then I came across these adorable printable’s from Mimi’s Dollhouse. I instantly fell in love and figured what a great theme for a first birthday…I mean after all Milk was (and still is) his favorite thing in the world and who doesn’t love cookies!

I kept everything else simple. We had a bounce house for the kids and just enjoyed our family and friends company while celebrating his 1st year of greatness! I did plan to cook about a million cookies however when I went to the store cookies were buy one get one free so I figured….why not ;). We had a little milk bar set up with chocolate and strawberry syrup and I put out bags for all the kids to gather some cookies as a special thank you for coming to Caiden’s party. It was one of my favorite parties to date. It came together so perfectly and we had a ball celebrating this beautiful soul.

Now…time to finish planning his 2nd birthday which is next week!!

(He was tired this day…and didn’t want to make a mess so figured would go hands free ;))
